PolyProject — Privacy Policy
PolyProject is a native Mac production tracker, included with the PolySpeak voice-production bundle and not sold individually. Its role in the suite is small, but its privacy behavior is worth documenting on its own like every other app in PolySpeak.
Summary
PolyProject makes no network requests and has no AI features at all. It reads and writes a single local manifest file and displays status information gathered from files produced by the other PolySpeak apps. The app has no server, no account, and no analytics.
What PolyProject Accesses
- A
.polyprojectmanifest file (JSON) that it reads and writes - Output files produced nearby by the other PolySpeak apps — script files from PolyScript, read-through audio from TableRead, and performance capture exports from Studio — read only to display status. PolyProject does not modify these files
PolyProject does not access your microphone, camera, contacts, location, photos, or calendar.
What Leaves Your Device
Nothing
PolyProject has no network features and no AI features at all. Everything it reads and writes stays on your Mac.
What Is Stored Locally
- The
.polyprojectmanifest file — saved wherever you choose on your Mac
None of this data is synced to iCloud or transmitted to DataIsland.
What PolyProject Does Not Do
- Does not transmit any data anywhere
- Does not require an account or login
- Does not collect analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports
- Does not modify the files produced by other PolySpeak apps — it only reads them for status display
- Does not share data with third parties
Children's Privacy
PolyProject is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PolyProject after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
